Please pardon the grainy appearance of the photo. I snapped it quickly and surreptitiously with my camera phone but if you look closely at her right thumb, you'll see that those colorful dots are actually Skittles. And her left thumb declares boldly that she is HOT, lest anyone have any doubts.

Now I know what to ask for the next time I go to the salon.

nine millimeter nails

My lovely girlfriend (tee hee hee. I looooooove saying that) was kind enough to treat me to a manicure/pedicure for my birthday. Yes, I realize my birthday was last month. See, we planned to get our digits all dolled up a few weeks ago but I was stricken with the sinus funk so we had to postpone our pampering trip. We finally hit the salon this weekend. Check out the results:

1) The identity of my toes is concealed for their protection.

2) Yes, I am that much of a dyke that I chose clear polish for my fingernails.

When approached by a six year old toting Bratz bubble gum pink nail polish, one should ask about the availability of nail polish remover prior to application. Otherwise, you'll have to rock this look until you can finally get your hands on some Cutex...
