My home internet access is back! I'm officially moved into my new home and after a series of the expected move-related snafus, I'm finally somewhat settled. I love my new apartment so much. If my camera hadn't crapped out on me, I would have pictures to share. I snapped a few on my camera phone so perhaps I'll mock-up a very lo-res triptych of sorts to illustrate my progress.

And now that I'm finally unpacked and organized, I have to do the packing thing all over again (on a much smaller scale, of course) for my excursion to San Francisco for the BlogHer Conference. Lest any of you attendees find yourself on the hunt for a Curly McDimple name tag, please note that I'll be attending as my in-real-life self because my job is paying my way and I have to, you know, act professional and network and shit.

Don't despair though. Here's a tip: If you see someone with a head of stylish (if I do say so myself) curls and a really Scottish/Irish-looking complexion, there's a good chance it's me.

Sorry for the lack of posts. I made the big move this week so my computer was disconnected for several days. I plugged it in yesterday to discover that my Internet access has yet to be activated by Time Warner Cable. Bastards.

How am I writing this you ask? I'm doing a quick drive-by at work today to get caught up on emails, online banking and what not. I actually looked forward to coming into the office, if you can believe it.

Here's hoping I'm unpacked and fully wired within the next few days. If not, there WILL be hives.
